What a shame we have had to fold the U17 team, unfortunately we just didn't get enough players at training and at matches. It leaves the 8 or 9 boys who turned up each week pretty frustrated. Hopefully they can get into either Breadalbane or Breadalbane Kenmore for the rest of the season.
Next season we are hoping to form another Amateur team to play in the Perthshire League - Breadalbane Strathtay Amateurs. We hope to make this team up mostly of younger players with a few "experienced" faces along beside them. The hope is that this will keep young players in the game and allow them to play every week.
What are you thoughts on this? Can we make it work? Do we have enough players to have three adult teams?
